Precise diagnosis and personalised treatment for jaw and muscle disorders

Craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) refers to a range of functional disorders affecting the teeth, jaw joints, and the muscles of the jaw and neck. It can be caused by misaligned teeth, poorly fitting dental work, teeth grinding, or stress, and often presents as headaches, neck or back pain, jaw clicking, restricted mouth opening, or general facial and muscle discomfort. Because symptoms can vary widely, CMD is often diagnosed at a later stage.

At CAMIC Clinics, we take the time to carry out a thorough assessment, using modern diagnostic and imaging techniques to identify the exact cause of your symptoms. Based on this, we develop a personalised treatment plan—usually non-surgical—which may include bite splints, targeted physiotherapy, and, where appropriate, collaboration with other specialists.

Our goal is to relieve pain, restore healthy jaw function, and prevent long-term complications.
